      No.

I'm not in a high risk category so I'll probably skip this one and just get the regular flu shot like I do every year.

Of course I will - I have 3 kids and I can't risk us all getting sick - We share everything - especially germs!

No! We don't vaccinate, so I wouldn't even consider it.

Despite the multi-million dollar propaganda campaign, no one wants squalene-laden, mercury-filled, Polysorbate 80-laced Baxter vaccines

Nope, don't need it. I'm tired of the panic and sensationalism from our media on the SWINE Flu...enough already.

my 3 girls and I will be getting the vaccination, I see no reason NOT to take any precautions that can limit our chances of getting sick

I never get the flu shot because I am allergic to egg albumen which is an ingredient in the vaccine!

No thank you. I would have liked to see more testing; instead of a "hurry! let's get something out there" shot.

Why should I? We live in Texas and the whole family has it already!!! Little late government. We recieved the normal flu shot, however, this one we recieved the normal way -- by contact. Thanks Texas.

No, I'm too old. I'm deemed to have lead a "complete life". Congrats to the new socialistic medicine. Too bad that I have asthma. Out of luck here. Guess God no longer decides on how long you live. Now a committee in Washington makes the decision for God. Hmmmm Brave new world we live in.

                                    Grandma Lucy,

There is no one in Washington making decisions about your healthcare currently. However if you are on Medicare you are one of the lucky ones that actually has health insurance. The insurance companies are making the decisions about health care right now. They choose who lives and dies. It's so tragic.

Stop listening to Lush Windbag and read the bill that has been passed by the house. Why are conservatives so eager to leave their brains at the door and believe the LIES that are propounded by the insurance industry?

Obviously, Lisa, you just believe everything the government tells you and big Pharm and big tobacco and everything you read on the internet is true...

If you don't need it (as in you'll die right now without it), don't put it in your body, you don't know where it's been...

The statistic on pregnant women is not true. These are the facts: Of 100 pregnant women infected with the virus between April and August 2009, and hospitalized in intensive care units, 28 have died. Statistically, that means that 28% of pregnant women sick enough for intensive care hospitalization may die. That study did not say how many total pregnant women die or even how many who are hospitalized other than in intensive care will die. As for the 76 children, that is a infinitesimally small percentage of the total who have been infected and probably less than the number who have died on highways during the same period, although I don't know that for a fact.

Don't get me wrong, every single death is a tragedy and I wish we could avoid them all, but sometimes these statistics have a way of skewing perspective.

I don't know if my kids or myself can get the shot. My Father had Guillian barre syndrome, and was paralized from the neck down. I guess the shot is supposed to be questionable for us for that reason
