My husband's salary fuels the whole house and without that income is hard.

Maybe. We’re trying to keep things in balance, but it’s always tough to tell how it all affects the kids.

I feel resentment for not being with my 2yo old as much even though it is no fault of my husband's. So much for being a stay at home mom!

      WHAT? Since when does "FAMILY" only mean w/a husband and wife? Can't I answer the question about how it has impacted my single parent family? Don't see that as an option! Shame!

        i agree with, libra6Mom. the economy has not just affected two-parent families. it has affect single families as well. it is only myself and four kids after a bad separation. the economy has only added more problems to our situation but God is keeping us.
