Long waiting times. Waiting for a busy doctor with small children can be really tough sometimes.

Catching colds/illnesses at the doctor's office. The waiting room toys and furniture are like petri dishes for viruses.

I will wait in my car and ask to be called when we are actually going to be seen. I can keep the kids happier there than in the office

Hard to wait with a toddler, but it's so worth it. A doctor that gives proper attention to patients usually comes with some time waiting.

When my son was small, he was sick every month. I finally scheduled an appointment with the doctor for a meeting. We ended up taking my son to an ENT specialist and found out that he had sinusitis and needed very different antibiotics!!

I have to admit, the only complaint I could even come up with for my pediatrician is the wait time and even that is really not bad typically. The longest I have ever waited was about 10 minutes and that was only once and for a last minute, squeezed into the schedule, sick visit. I feel truly blessed to have found a Dr. I not only trust but who spends plenty of time with me and my child during our visits. Their office is very clean and they have (and enforce) separate areas for children who are there for sick or well visits. The receptionists and nurses are always wonderful.
