A new study is suggesting that modern superheroes are promoting a “narrow view” of masculinity. Comic book figures like Spider-Man and Iron Man may be favorites of popular culture, but Dr. Sharon Lamb, author of “Packaging Boyhood: Saving our sons from superheroes, slackers and other media stereotypes” is posing the argument that some of these characters are sending the wrong message to younger, more impressionable children.
