I disagree with the comments just made on Kids Health section on this mornings show (Monday, Aug. 23). Crawling is EXTREMELY important in a child's development, especially in brain development. All children, no matter what age need to learn to crawl. It can not and should not be overlooked.

I disagree with the comments made on Kids Health this morning. Teething will cause a child to run a fever. I have two children who experienced running a low fever everytime they cut a new tooth. I have friends who feel the same way and not only that but I had a general practice physician tell me that children who are teething will run a fever regardless of the popular opinion of pediatricians. Common sense tells you that if nothing else is wrong with your child and the only thing going on is that they are teething then the fever is a result of the teething.
