Do you think tooth brushing at preschool is necessary?

According to a recent New York Times story, Massachusetts is the first state to add toothbrush time as a daily requirement for preschool children. Do you think it's a good idea or a little over the top? Cast your vote and share your thoughts.

As long as each child has a toothbrush holder to keep the germs away, I think it's a great idea.

I think it's a great idea. Children love to learn and what a better way to start this most important lifelong habit!

My children brush their teeth 2 to 3 times a day at home I don't want them using a toothbrush at school no matter how careful they are.

Children learn by imitating their parents. Early dental hygene is very important.

While I believe that early use of a toothbrush is extremely important the only school based brushing should be informational and demonstrative only. Although I voted "yes" I hope I qualified my vote by saying children learn by imitating their parents.
